Corporate Trainer - New Hire Onboarding & Janitorial Training

Oranje Commercial Janitorial - Phoenix, AZ Full-Time | $52,000 per year

Oranje Commercial Janitorial is looking for a hands-on Corporate Trainer to lead new-hire onboarding and job training.

Once our Recruiting Team hires a candidate, the Corporate Trainer will guide them through orientation, required onboarding, safety training, company training videos, and hands-on commercial janitorial procedures before assigning them to a work location.

Responsibilities
• Conduct new-hire orientation and onboarding classes.
• Welcome employees and review the Oranje Welcome Packet, company expectations, policies, and employee programs.
• Assist new hires with accessing and completing required Paychex onboarding forms and applications.
• Guide employees through required job-specific training videos.
• Provide workplace and janitorial safety training.
• Provide hands-on training in commercial cleaning procedures, including:

o Sweeping and mopping

o Vacuuming

o Restroom cleaning

o Trash removal

o Dusting and surface cleaning

o Proper chemical use

o PPE and safety procedures

o Cleaning equipment and tools
• Observe employees performing cleaning tasks and provide coaching or additional training when needed.
• Maintain training attendance and completion records.
• Communicate training concerns or additional training needs to HR and Operations.
• Assist with refresher training for existing employees as needed.

Qualifications
• Commercial janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or related experience preferred.
• Previous training, supervisory, lead, or onboarding experience preferred.
• Comfortable teaching individuals and groups.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and online training systems.
• Able to demonstrate physical janitorial duties including bending, lifting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Professional, dependable, patient, and comfortable working with employees from different backgrounds and experience levels.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
