Turn Your Installation Experience Into Leadership

$75,000-$85,000 + Performance Bonus | Full Benefits | Company Vehicle

If you've spent years mastering garage door installation and you're ready for more responsibility, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll continue installing and troubleshooting in the field, but you'll also have the opportunity to lead installers, develop newer team members, oversee complex projects, improve quality, and help shape how the installation department operates.

Compensation & Benefits

We want experienced professionals to have the tools and support they need to succeed.

  • $75,000-$85,000 annually
  • Performance bonus
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Company vehicle, Gas card
  • Tool allowance
  • Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
What Makes This Opportunity Different?

We aren't simply looking for someone who can install a garage door.

We're looking for someone who understands why an installation works, recognizes problems before they become callbacks, and can teach those skills to someone else.

You'll serve as a technical resource and example for the installation team while helping improve consistency, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

Your day may include:

  • Leading residential garage door and operator installations
  • Handling complex and specialty installation projects
  • Training and mentoring installers
  • Developing newer team members
  • Inspecting completed installations
  • Troubleshooting challenging field issues
  • Reviewing warranty and callback work
  • Identifying ways to reduce installation mistakes
  • Working with sales and customers on larger projects
  • Helping plan upcoming installations
  • Reinforcing safety standards and PPE requirements
  • Monitoring field preparedness and inventory
  • Recommending improvements to tools, materials, and processes

The original position emphasizes leading by example, supervising and training installers, maintaining field quality, reducing warranty callbacks, and overseeing complex installation projects.

The Experience We're Looking For

You have extensive garage door and operator installation and repair experience and can confidently work through technical installation requirements without needing someone looking over your shoulder.

You understand proper measurements and specifications for different garage door systems, including:

  • Standard installations
  • Low-headroom installations
  • Torsion configurations
  • Jackshaft applications
  • Operator requirements
  • Wiring locations
  • Headroom and sideroom requirements
  • Other specialty installation variables

Beyond technical ability, you're someone people can rely on.

You communicate clearly. You stay organized. You solve problems instead of passing them along. You care about craftsmanship, safety, and the customer experience.

And when you're training someone, you're willing to explain not just what to do, but why it's done that way.

What You'll Need
  • Extensive garage door and operator installation/repair knowledge
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to train and support other installers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Professional customer communication
  • Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of garage door installation, including lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.

If you're an experienced garage door installer who is ready to lead from the field, develop others, and have a bigger impact on the operation, we want to hear from you.
