# Part-Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant

- *Schedule:** Mondays and Thursdays | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
- *Hours:** 12 hours per week
- *Compensation:** $10-15 per hour, based on experience
### Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant to help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable family home.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, demonstrates initiative, and can work independently without constant supervision. We are looking for a consistent, long-term working relationship with someone who will treat our home with care and respect.
### Primary Responsibilities
**General Housekeeping**
- Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common living areas.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and sweep and mop floors.
- Clean countertops, sinks, mirrors, and other household surfaces.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and order throughout the home.
- Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
**Laundry and Linens**
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away family laundry.
- Change and wash bed linens regularly.
- Organize clothing and maintain orderly laundry areas.
- Ensure towels and linens are clean, folded, and properly stored.
**Household Organization**
- Maintain organized closets, bedrooms, and common areas.
- Keep household items in their designated places.
- Assist with periodic organization projects.
- Identify areas needing additional attention and address them proactively.
**General Household Support**
- Load and unload the dishwasher as needed.
- Maintain an orderly kitchen and household environment.
- Monitor basic cleaning supply needs and communicate when items should be replenished.
- Perform other reasonable household maintenance tasks as agreed upon.
### Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or household management experience preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Trustworthy, professional, and respectful of family privacy.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to provide professional or personal references.
- Willingness to complete a background check.
### Schedule and Compensation
This is a part-time position requiring **12 hours per week**, scheduled as follows:
- **Monday:** 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
- **Thursday:** 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Compensation **$10-15 per hour**, depending on experience and qualifications.
This position focuses on housekeeping, laundry, and household organization. Childcare responsibilities are not included.
